Meet Sandra
My Vision
Students are encouraged to ‘let go’ of their thoughts and be present, once the class commences. Using all that I have learnt …., intention, meditation, pranayama and asanas, the aim is to have all students leaving class feeling revitalized so they can find a balance in their lives. A guided meditation is also part of the practice, bringing balance into the mind and body. Part of the meditation includes a blissful sound bath, using a Tibetan singing bowl to invite tranquility, wholeness and peace within, creating the ultimate relaxation experience.

About Sandra
My first yoga class was in April 2007. Since then, my passion for yoga has allowed me to continue to explore and practice yoga regularly. With yoga in my life I have been better equipped to manage stress. An opportunity arose for me to attend a traditional Hatha Yoga teacher training course in India with Shiva Shakti Yoga. Learning yoga where it all started was the most amazing experience for me. I’m always keen to learn and share what I've learnt with my students. Yoga is not a job, it is my choice of lifestyle! I teach with an emphasis on breath and alignment in a non-competitive environment. Classes consist of a combination of Hatha and vinyasa, with gentle or dynamic asanas (poses) and pranayama (breathing techniques); variation asanas are included to suit the individual and alignments are checked. Using all that I have learned, as a yoga teacher and student, my aim is to have yogi's leave class feeling revitalised so they can find a balance in their lives. I have been practising yoga since 2007 and am registered with Yoga Alliance UK.
